Life and Level

My new web series! My friend Johnny and I duke it out in video games with unique challenges. Whether that means every time you die in a game, you get shocked by a dog collar, or if it means beating up your opponent while you play you will see a loser. The loser has to spin a wheel that determines a dumb thing the opponent has to do.

I hope my watchers gave up already

Forget updating SSAG. I'll just draw whatever for whatever reason. Screw art though, it's so pointless. It's just as much a waste of time as playing solitare or minesweeper; if someone's pretty good at it, it's neat, but if you're just doing it out of boredom, it's a waste of time. Some art through the ages has looked pretty keen, but most of it has been crap. I don't care either way. In other words, I'm giving the reason I don't draw much, because art is just that meaningless a pastime. God, it's like poetry or photography. I respect good art as much as I respect a really good gaming replay. The "arts" I respect the most would be writing and music, and even then I don't give much respect. Keep in mind I'm talking about the completed content mostly, not the people that make it.

I hope everyone who reads this steals my artwork and gains something out of it. Go ahead, make prints, make money if you can. Most of my art is either incomplete or not even worth it anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love and admire the way a lot of pieces turn out, but then again I enjoy watching a good game of Othello, Starcraft, or the efficiency of a program's code. I won't sign any my work, I will talk about how long it took though. I like the way a lot of it turned out, but now it's just sitting there like a completed jigsaw puzzle. I will deffinately make more pieces, but I just want everyone to know just how meaningless it all really is.

I remember drawing something on a whim for some art show thing on a projector, and someone commented their interpreted meaning from it. wtf, if art had "meaning" it just means the artist is full of themself enough to want meaning. God, it's just pixels. I hope anyone who gets meaning out of anything I draw just stops watching my artwork.

Screw you all! :D

On another note, work has been pretty rough. I forgot just how busy I get on tour, and now that I have responsiblity over $2+ mil worth, 4 trailers (52' trucks), over 50+ people who I'm the boss of including an assistant, the load out of concessions, and if the numbers are off by even 1 cent I get an ear full of heat. During all of this, I have to argue with truckers, managers, building managers, the crew managers, security guards, truck docking security office workers, co-staff, and all the people that work under me. Otherwise, it's been fun. I haven't fired anyone yet, but I've come very close to. The 5 star hotels and all the travelling has been quite an adventure.

Didn't quite make my deadline, and didn't even get my pic halfway before halloween. I should just do the easy drawings from now on, since I'm very very pressed for time.

I'm going to see if I can start a new regime to update on mondays (my only day off). Though it means I will be sacrificing some programming time, I'm sort of in the mood to some more for it. Since my latest promotion (I got promoted again, and I get an assistant!) I've had a lot more work to do, but that will change once I get a lot of it organized and done.

Well, that's that, oh and love you Sarah!! (if you knew her, you'd love her too!)
